Bringing eye check ups to school

We understand the importance of early eye care—especially when it comes to spotting vision problems that can affect learning. 

Our experienced optometry team, led by behavioural optometrist, Linda Nguyen, provide comprehensive eye tests for students directly at school. 

• Eye tests are done in a familiar, comfortable environment

• Convenient and accessible solution for families
   
• We reduce the need for external appointments, to support early detection and timely management of vision-related learning difficulties, particularly for those who are already receiving learning support
   
• A selection of spectacles is available to browse if needed. Students may be able to access the free/low cost NSW Spectacle Program* (*means tested), or claim no-gap spectacles through their health insurance.
   
• Comprehensive children's vision testing includes checks for vision and eye health, binocular vision testing such as eye tracking, eye teaming and eye focussing issues

• A report is given to parents following the eye test
   
• If further testing is recommended, we provide referrals to optometrists/ophthalmologists
